DXC × Anthropic: Claude enters the world's banks, airlines, and governments

Anthropic announced a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology on June 11, 2026 — one of the largest enterprise deployments of Claude to date. DXC, which runs mission-critical IT infrastructure for the world's biggest regulated industries, will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers and embed Claude directly inside customer environments.

Card 1 — The deal in one stat: DXC estimated Claude accelerated its own software development by a factor of 10×, with 95% of code for its new AI-native orchestration platform, DXC OASIS, generated by Claude before human review. That internal proof-of-concept is now the template for rolling out to clients.

Card 2 — DXC at scale: DXC operates across 115,000 employees in 70 countries. OASIS, launched April 2026, already runs across 50+ DXC customers — and DXC plans a global rollout. Engineers will be certified in 90 days through Anthropic Academy, with DXC adding its own curriculum for mission-critical environments.

Card 3 — Where Claude goes first: Four initial sectors — Insurance (agentic core-system modernization), Modernization as a Service (legacy codebase refactor), Cybersecurity (always-on SOC security sub-agent via Claude Security), and Application Services (OASIS agents inside enterprise app management). DXC is now one of the few Global Premier Partners in the Claude Partner Network.

Why it matters: This is Anthropic's clearest move yet into legacy enterprise IT — not through cloud API access, but through forward-deployed humans certified to bring Claude into regulated environments that have resisted previous waves of automation. For investors and enterprise buyers, it signals Claude is now the default foundation model for a firm with 50+ years of infrastructure contracts across every regulated sector.
